‘I began this work wondering what remains when we become still enough to notice what usually passes unseen. Through layers of ink and acrylic, the painting became a way of tracing thoughts, memories and questions that resist language. The act of mapping in this work is not cartographic but intuitive - it traces what cannot be clearly named. The suspended forms act as quiet points of orientation within an imagined landscape, inviting reflection rather than resolution. In searching for my own answers, I found space for uncertainty - and for the possibility that others might recognise something of themselves within it.'
