Amena Bandukwala currently lives and works in Sydney, Australia.
Lean in, listen and find connections
In a world full of colour, chaos and emotion, Amena’s artworks offer space to breathe and find peace. Yet, she’s aware that to see the entire frame, you first need to lean in, listen and pay attention. To notice the intricate details, and give yourself permission to pause, contemplate, and re-evaluate.
This shift in perspective prompts viewers to consider the connections between their inner and outer worlds. It’s this collision between the internal and external that drives her work as an artist and mark-maker. Amena’s art is an invitation to start meaningful dialogues, both with yourself and others.
